Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Crawlmark ("the Service") at crawlmark.report, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Crawlmark is an AI crawler readiness scanning tool that analyses publicly accessible websites and produces reports on how well those sites are configured for AI agents, language model crawlers, and related automated systems. The Service may also provide remediation recommendations and related professional services.

3. Account registration

Certain features require a registered account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your contact details up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Scan websites you do not own or do not have authorisation to analyse
  • Attempt to overwhelm, disrupt, or circumvent the scanning infrastructure
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that imposes unreasonable load
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation

Crawlmark scans only publicly accessible content. By submitting a URL you confirm you have the right to request analysis of that resource.

5. Licence to use the Service (EULA)

Subject to these Terms, Crawlmark grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own internal business or personal purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Remove or obscure any proprietary notices within the Service
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or service

PDF reports generated by the Service for your own domains may be used internally or shared with clients for informational purposes. Reports may not be republished, resold, or misrepresented as your own analysis.

6. Scan results and accuracy

Scan results are provided for informational purposes only. Crawlmark makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate analysis, but results may not reflect every aspect of a site's configuration and should not be relied upon as a definitive security or compliance assessment. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Intellectual property

The Crawlmark name, logo, and all content, software, and methodology comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to Crawlmark and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crawlmark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Crawlmark in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via their registered email address. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
