• Scan data — the URLs and domain names you submit for scanning, along with the results of those scans.
• Session tokens — cryptographically generated tokens stored in a secure cookie to keep you signed in.

3. How we use your data

• Authentication — your email address is used to send magic sign-in links and to identify your account.
• Service communications — we may contact you at your registered email address regarding your account, service updates, or matters related to scans you have requested.
• Service delivery — scan results are stored so you can access historical reports and track domain changes over time.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for behavioural advertising, or share it with any party except as described below.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your email address and name on the basis of contractual necessity — providing the service requires an account, and an account requires an email address for authentication and communication. Where we send service-related communications, this is also justified by our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.

5. Third-party processors

We use the following third-party services to deliver Crawlmark:

• Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links and account emails). Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for this purpose.

All third-party processors are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

6. Data retention

• Account data (email, name) is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Scan results are retained indefinitely to support historical tracking features.
• Session tokens expire after 30 days and are deleted automatically.
• Magic link tokens expire after 15 minutes and are marked as used upon sign-in.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
